The TASC Training Institute of Coastal Horizons Center, Inc provides evidence based training to TASC staff statewide via live and virtual learning environments in order to improve the delivery of services to the offender population across the state of North Carolina. The Institute also provides state mandated pre-certification training for North Carolina Drug Education School (DES) Instructors, training and support to NC DWI treatment providers, including New Provider Orientation Training, E508 Certificate of Completion User Training and E508 Online and telephone user assistance.
The Institute provides on-site training to TASC Care Managers, DWI Services staff, and DES Instructors. Trainings are conducted multiple times a year in locations convenient to the professionals we serve.
A variety of accredited and unaccredited online course material is available to TASC Care Managers, DWI Providers, and Substance Abuse Professionals through our online training sections.
Webinars allow the Institute to provide a wide variety of live and recorded trainings to substance abuse professionals across the state in a convenient, engaging format.
TASC Care Managers can find out about, and sign up for, new trainings in the Care Manager Dashboard and regular email notices from us. Other substance abuse professionals can call us to register if you were referred by another entity. News about upcoming trainings can also be received by subscribing to our mailing list below.
